Culver-Stockton College is a technological leader among schools of its size. The campus is linked, via cable and fiber optics, by an extensive Local Area Network that provides computer access to almost every building. Several main machines (running UNIX, Novell Netware, and NT) are connected to this network. A microwave link connects the campus in Canton to additional facilities at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

Electronic mail, the Internet, the World Wide Web, and the Missouri Research and Education network (MOREnet) are accessible from the campus network. Programming languages (C++, Java, Visula BASIC, Perl, and PROLOG) are also available on the network, as are productivity database systems. Students may also access the library holding on-line from the campus network (or even from off-campus.)

All residence hall rooms are connected to the network, allowing students to plug in their personal computers for continuous access from their living area. A campus Resnet coordinator is available to help students connect their machines to the network. The college also supports three campus laboratories that offer access to all facilities through modern worstations, and "mini" laboratories in the residence halls that are available 24 hours a day.

Some students may elect to receive hands-on experiences as an assistant in the Information Services Department. Through the Earn and Learn Program at the College, students serve in a career environment.
