Elementary Education
Although classroom teachers cannot solve all the problems of society, they do have an opportunity and responsibility to provide a solid foundation in basic academic skills, social and character development, and solid decision-making skills. Elementary education majors will learn attitudes and strategies, along with content, to enable them to develop that solid foundation while encouraging the wonderment of lifelong learning.
Elementary education majors at Culver-Stockton College achieve certification to teach grades 1-6. Students are required to have a 21-hour concentration in one area, and a professional portfolio reflecting the knowledge, skills and abilities gained during undergraduate studies.
Student Teaching & Other Requirements
