Art
This is an exciting time to pursue and prepare for a career in the visual arts. The positions available are diverse and artists now have unlimited career possibilities. Today's artists help set the standards of taste, influence the look and design of the world and make a good living at the same time. Some of our graduates enter the job market directly after graduation, while others apply and gain acceptance into graduate school.
The job market for college graduates with an art degree is growing, especially for artists who have experience with computer graphics. The instruction and training gained in coursework at the college level is vitally important to the development of professional artists. Some self-taught artists exist, but the majority of successful artists have had excellent training from qualified and experienced art teachers. Our art faculty members are committed to preparing students to enter the workforce of the twenty-first century.
