ROCKY HORROR SHOW

Culver-Stockton will close its 2007-08 productions with the "Rocky Horror Show," April 24-27. The production is the original stage version of the play that also became a movie in 1975 and a cult classic.

Written by English playwright and actor Richard O’Brien, the "Rocky Horror Show" opened in London in 1973 and has seen thousands of productions around the world in 25 years. It follows the adventures of the newly engaged Brad and Janet who experience car troubles and turn for help to the occupants of a nearby castle, which is hosting the Annual Transylvanian Convention. 

Performances are scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26. The final performance is at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 27. All performances are in C-SC’s Mabee Little Theatre.

Culver-Stockton’s production, its 2007-08 season finale, is under the direction of Dr. Haidee Heaton, assistant professor of theatre.

The production will open on Thursday, April 24, at 7:30 p.m. with performances on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a Sunday matinee at 3 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults; $6 for students, and $5 for C-SC students.
