Biological Chemistry
Biological chemistry gets you started on a career path in molecular life science. You will get hands-on experiences in both chemistry and biology offering courses in general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, molecular and cellular biology, botany, zoology, genetics, and instrumental analysis.
The major is a solid first step for students who plan to go to graduate school to study molecular biology, biochemistry, or other program in life sciences. A major in biological chemistry is also a perfect fit for students interested in a pre-health major and looking toward careers in medicine, pharmacy, veterinary sciences, or dentistry.
