Biology
Culver-Stockton's biology program is centered around providing a solid and well-balanced foundation of biological concepts, scientific investigative techniques and career preparation.
The biology program at Culver-Stockton College is geared to students who wish to pursue a professional career related to biology.
The biology major requires you to complete course work in different areas of biology tailored to your future career choice.
As a biology major, you will experience hands-on training in the laboratory as well as in professional environments. Training is provided if you want to enter a career immediately upon graduation, such as government, teaching, industrial laboratory work or conservation. Training is also provided if you would like to pursue health careers such as medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, medical technology, physical therapy and occupational therapy.
If you would like to pursue a career in high school biology or physical science teaching, Culver-Stockton also has a teacher certification program.
