Each semester, Culver-Stockton College offers study-abroad courses, through which students and faculty to travel together and immerse themselves in another culture. This important component of EXP@CSC: The Total Learning Experience is one of the students' options for experiential coursework during the three-week short-term each semester. Each experience is offered for three hours of academic credit.
Some C-SC students choose to spend an entire semester studying at a college or university abroad. These programs are offered in partnership with other organizations, such as the Missouri-London Consortium and the Central College Study Abroad Program.
Through the consortium, C-SC students can study in London and receive academic credit at Culver-Stockton, making normal progress toward their undergraduate degrees while experiencing another culture. Central College in Pella, Iowa, offers programs to C-SC students in such locations as Wales, Spain, Austria, France, China, England, the Yucatan, and the Netherlands.
Summer study-abroad programs also are available often in partnership with the Missouri-London Consortium or Central College, Pella, Iowa. Students may submit other study-abroad programs to Culver-Stockton, which will work with the sponsoring organization to have academic credits transferred.
