Financial Aid Awards
Culver-Stockton offers some financial aid opportunities to help students participate in study abroad programs during the two, three-week short terms each year.
The Adams Sigma Phi Epsilon Awards:
Five $500 awards will be granted each year. Deadlines will be announced each semester. Application forms will be available from Dr. Hotle (hyperlink to his contact info). The application includes a 500-word essay describing how the study trip will advance the student's educational or career goals, as well as a letter of recommendation from faculty.
The Lipka Sigma Epsilon Award:
One $2,500 award will be granted each year. Deadline for application will be announced. Application forms are available in the Study abroad in Johann or from Dr. Hotle. Application forms will be available from Dr. Hotle (hyperlink to his contact info). The application includes a 500-word essay describing how the study trip will advance the student's educational or career goals, as well as a letter of recommendation from faculty. This award is intended to support students with financial needs, so the C-SC Financial Aid office will be asked to provide pertinent information about the student as part of the application process.
