Culver-Stockton wants students to succeed. Our admissions process and first-year programming are designed to smooth the transition to college life.
Placement Testing — Incoming students take math and English placement tests to determine which courses are most appropriate.
Integrated Advising — A faculty member from the student's major with work with him or her during Summer Registration and Orientation to select a course schedule.
First-Year Experience Course — Every new student takes a first-year seminar to strengthen the necessary skills for academic success.
Guided Pursuit for Success — Students who need more time to pick a major are immediately linked to the career services center to begin exploring their personal interests, talents, and values to determine possible career options.
