ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Professor of Business Administration.  This is a full-time position with a possibility to be tenure-track in a dynamic business program beginning in August of 2015.  Courses that will be taught by this position include investments, money and banking, international finance, economics and other business related topics and it is preferred that the successful candidate be a finance specialist with an emphasis on economics.  Additional responsibilities include academic advising, committee work, and assisting in student recruitment.  
We are seeking a dynamic teacher and collaborative colleague eager to participate in the life of the college.  C-SC faculty are committed to teaching excellence, participate in faculty governance, serve on college committees, and assist with student recruitment.

Ph.D. is required for a tenure-track position; candidates with a Master’s degree will be considered for a renewable lecturer position.  Successful teaching experience in the classroom and online preferred.  The successful candidate must have evidence of an ability to work effectively with students and colleagues and have a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education and experiential learning.

ATHLETIC TRAINING EDUCATION PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Culver-Stockton College is accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track, Athletic Training Education Program Director.  The Athletic Training Education Program Director will have programmatic, administrative, and supervisory responsibility for the entire athletic training education program.  This 10-month appointment will also have a faculty rank of Assistant or Associate Professor and will teach courses in athletic trainings, kinesiology, exercise physiology or other related courses.  The Athletic Training Education Program Director will be responsible for maintaining CAATE accreditation status, advising athletic training students in a CAATE accredited program, serve on college committees as assigned and participate in college and community service that support the mission and goals of Culver-Stockton College.

The Athletic Training Education Program Director requires a terminal degree (Ph.D, Ed.D, or other degree deemed appropriate by C-SC) in Athletic Training or closely related field.  Must be in good standing with the BOC and be able to provide current certification records, must have or be eligible for Missouri State Board of Healing Arts license as an athletic trainer, and have knowledge and understanding of the CAATE Standards and accreditation process.  Three years working as a certified athletic trainer in higher education and a strong teaching record in higher education is preferred.

COORDINATOR OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Coordinator of Foreign Languages.  This is a part-time position beginning in August of 2015.  The successful candidate will teach traditional classroom courses in Spanish and perhaps other languages (depending upon areas of expertise) in addition to coordinating hybrid courses using Rosetta Stone software. Candidates should possess mastery of Spanish and at least one other foreign language, be familiar with Rosetta Stone and/or other online language instruction platforms, and have a demonstrated record of successful college teaching using both traditional and technology-enhanced methods.  We are seeking a dynamic teacher and collaborative colleague eager to participate in the life of the college.  C-SC faculty are committed to teaching excellence, participate in faculty governance, serve on college committees, and assist with student recruitment.

HEAD CHEER COACH

Culver-Stockton College is accepting applications for a part-time Head Cheer Coach.  C-SC offers experiential learning with a 12-3 academic calendar which provides an innovative four-year program of studies and experiences that prepares students for career success like no other college or university in the nation.  C-SC fields 18 NAIA sports which compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) and the Mid-American Men’s Volleyball Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MAMVIC).  

In accordance with all NAIA, Heart of America Athletic Conference and Culver-Stockton College policies and procedures, the position of Head Cheer Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for the entire operation of the cheer squad, including (but not limited to) the recruitment of student-athletes, practice and contest planning, participate skill development, and budget oversight.

Candidates should possess a demonstrated record of success coaching cheerleaders, preferably at the collegiate level, the ability to recruit and motivate student-athletes, a strong commitment to academic success as well as compliance with NAIA, HAAC and institutional policies and procedures.  Bachelor’s Degree required.

Compensation consists of $5,000.00 per year.
