DIRECTOR OF ALUMNI PROGRAMS

Culver-Stockton College is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Director of Alumni Programs. The Director of Alumni Programs will be responsible for leading, planning, and implementing various alumni functions and events, both on and off campus, to foster the education, increase engagement, and growing enthusiasm of alumni/ea as it relates to advancing the initiatives of Culver-Stockton College. Appropriate cultivation of alumni/ea leading to highly functional relationships with the College will be of great importance with a special emphasis placed on the management of alumni affinity groups, reunion programs, social media postings and communication, regional alumni clubs, electronic and print communication, and select advancement related events. The Director of Alumni Programs will travel for the College and must have affinity with the mission and values of Culver-Stockton College.

A Bachelor’s Degree is required with preference given to a graduate of Culver-Stockton College along with 3 years of demonstrated relevant work experience. Experience in higher education and relationship-based work such as sales and marketing are desired. Must have a proven record of meeting established goals and objectives and have strong interpersonal and communication abilities. ASSISTANT FOOTBALL COACH

Culver-Stockton College is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Football Coach with an anticipated January 2017 start date.  C-SC offers experiential learning with a 12-3 academic calendar which provides an innovative four-year program of studies and experiences that prepares students for career success like no other college or university in the nation. C-SC fields 18 NAIA sports which compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart).

In accordance with all NAIA, Heart of America Athletic Conference and Culver-Stockton College policies and procedures, the position of Assistant Football Coach reports to the Head Football Coach and is responsible for assisting in administering the entire operation of the program including (but not limited to) the recruitment of student-athletes, film breakdown and evaluation, practice planning, participate in player skill development, meetings with players and staff and other duties assigned by the Head Coach.

Candidates should have success coaching or playing football, preferably at the collegiate level, the ability to recruit and motivate student-athletes, a strong commitment to academic success as well as compliance with NAIA, Heart, and institutional policies and procedures. ADMISSION COUNSELOR

The Culver-Stockton Admission Office seeks an energetic and dynamic individual to join our professional team.  The full-time, 12-month position of Admission Counselor is responsible for recruiting students and guiding them through the college selection process.  The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, computer, and organizational skills.  A high energy level, goal-oriented, ability to write and speak clearly, and a sense of marketing are valued.  Extensive telecounseling is also required.

DIVISIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
(Applied Liberal Arts and Sciences)

Culver-Stockton College is seeking a highly-motivated and organized individual for the position of Divisional Administrative Assistant. This is a non-exempt, 10-month administrative assistant position that will provide office services for the Division of Applied Liberal Arts and Sciences. Responsibilities will include scheduling meetings and appointments, maintaining records for the division, overseeing the budget and tracking expenditures and providing reports as needed. Assist with routine clerical duties in support of faculty in the division as well as serving as a liaison between the College, students, vendors and visitors.

Required qualifications include a high-school diploma or GED and two years of clerical experience. Must have advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft office programs, strong organizational and communication skills, have the ability to work well with a team. Must be able to multi-task, work independently and have excellent time management skills.

CAMPUS SAFETY OFFICER

Culver-Stockton College has an immediate opening for a full time Campus Safety Officer. This is a 12-month position that will work 32 hours per week and have responsibilities in both security and physical plant. Work hours for this position will vary and include shifts on days, nights, weekends and/or holidays to provide 24 hour coverage as needed.  During the academic year primary responsibilities will include security work such as securing and opening buildings, conducting investigations, report writing, issuing tickets for policy violations, safety checks, patrols and other assigned duties related to basic maintenance tasks. During the summer months responsibilities will include working with the physical plant on tasks such as mowing, basic landscaping work, trash removal, painting and assisting other physical plant staff with projects.

The candidate must be prepared for physically demanding activities and must be able to spend long periods of time on their feet and traverse all types of terrain in all types of weather. Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods, climb stairs frequently, and to lift and carry weights of up to 75 pounds. Excellent teamwork and people skills are critical due to frequent contact and interaction with faculty, staff, and students. A current driver’s license is required along with computer experience and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Must have a strong ability to communicate effectively by radio or telephone in stressful conditions and prior safety/security experience a plus but is not required.

MEDIA CONTENT SPECIALIST

Culver-Stockton College is accepting applications for a Media Content Specialist that is the lead writer and editor that works within the Office of Marketing and Public Relations and promotes the College through written content and media representations. The Media Content Specialist also provides guidance to administration, faculty, staff and students in best practices for maintaining the College’s brand in written form. Responsibilities will also include coordinating the media’s presence through scheduling and will handle the management of all external media personnel on campus, writing for all College marketing materials and scripts for video productions, as well as assisting with the maintenance of the College social media accounts.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism or related field along with two years or more of experience in writing and/or media experience. Must be highly organized, creative and have the ability to work varying hours including weekends and evenings as necessary.

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF CHEMISTRY

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Chemistry, responsible for teaching courses in physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, general chemistry, physics and/or other related courses assigned by the department. This position would begin in the Fall of 2017 and have primary areas of specialty or experience in physical chemistry and analytical chemistry. Participation in undergraduate research is expected through advising and/or formal teaching duties associated with chemistry research courses.  A strong commitment to academic advising is expected.  

The position requires a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry or ABD (attainment of a Master’s degree in Physical Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry and completion of a course of study leading to a Doctorate, except for the dissertation).  Must also have the ability to work effectively with students and colleagues, and a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education.
