ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS

Culver-Stockton College is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Marketing and Public Relations.  The Assistant Director of Marketing and Public Relations will manage the internal operations of the Marketing and Public Relations Office including supervision of other staff members and student workers, budgetary issues, project timelines and third party vendor relations.  This position will identify marketing challenges and opportunities and recommend strategies for marketing efforts that serve to enhance and strengthen the reputation of the College internally and externally.  This position will assist the Director of Marketing and Public Relations in all marketing and advertising initiative for the College and will coordinate market research activities and monitor marketing and branding activities College-wide to ensure coordination efforts.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism, English, or related field along with at least two years of office management experience including supervisory experience.  Must be highly organized, creative and have the ability to work varying hours including weekends and evenings as necessary.

DIVISIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (Fine, Applied and Literary Arts)

Culver-Stockton College is seeking a highly-motivated and organized individual for the position of Divisional Administrative Assistant.  This is a non-exempt, 10-month administrative assistant position that will provide office services for the division of Fine, Applied and Literary Arts.  Responsibilities will include scheduling meetings and appointments, maintaining records for the division, overseeing the budget and tracking expenditures and providing reports as needed. Assist with routine clerical duties in support of faculty in the division as well as serving as a liaison between the College, students, vendors and visitors.

Required qualifications include a high-school diploma or GED and two years of clerical experience.  Must have advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft office programs, strong organizational and communication skills, have the ability to work well with a team.   Must be able to multi-task, work independently and have excellent time management skills.

HEAD MEN’S VOLLEYBALL COACH/FACILITY COORDINATOR

Culver-Stockton College is seeking qualified candidates for the full-time position of Head Men’s Volleyball Coach/Facility Coordinator.  C-SC offers experiential learning with a 12-3 academic calendar which provides an innovative four-year program of studies and experiences that prepares students for career success like no other college or university in the nation. C-SC will field 18 NAIA sports which compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) and the NAIA North Conference in Men’s Volleyball.

In Accordance with all NAIA, and Culver-Stockton College policies and procedures, the position of Head Men’s Volleyball Coach reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for the entire operation of the men’s volleyball program, including, but not limited to, the recruitment of student-athletes, contest scheduling, practice and contest planning, player skill development, academic monitoring, office/budget management and general oversight of a selected athletic facility.  

Requirements for this position include significant experience in volleyball and Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; Master’s Degree preferred.   Must have experience as a successful collegiate/pro volleyball player with at least two years of coaching; collegiate coaching experience is preferred.  The successful candidate must also demonstrate a strong commitment to academic success and compliance with NAIA, and institutional policies and procedures, and have experience and the ability to recruit and motivate student-athletes.  Salary will commensurate with experience and C-SC also offers a competitive benefits package.

HOUSEKEEPER/CUSTODIAN


Culver-Stockton College has an immediate opening for a full time Housekeeper/Custodian. Responsibilities include cleaning hallways, classrooms, exterior entries, and restrooms; operate commercial machines; and handle concentrated commercial products. The candidate must also be prepared for physically demanding activities and be able to walk/stand for extended periods, climb stairs frequently, and to lift and carry weights of up to 75 pounds. Excellent teamwork and people skills are critical due to frequent contact and interaction with faculty, staff, and students.
