ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF CHEMISTRY
Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time tenure track position of Assistant Professor of Chemistry, responsible for teaching courses in physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, general chemistry, physics and/or other related courses assigned by the department. ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF PSYCHOLOGY
Culver-Stockton College invites applications for a full-time, tenure track, Assistant Professor of Psychology position that can begin either January or August 2017. Candidates with expertise in behaviorism or counseling are preferred but all areas of specialization will be considered. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses within the departmental core including introductory psychology, developmental psychology, and courses in the candidate's area of specialization. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, committee work, and assisting in student recruitment.

CAMPUS SAFETY OFFICER
Culver-Stockton College has an immediate opening for a full time Campus Safety Officer. This is a 12-month position that will work 32 hours per week and have responsibilities in both security and physical plant. Work hours for this position will vary and include shifts on days, nights, weekends and/or holidays to provide 24 hour coverage as needed. During the academic year primary responsibilities will include security work such as securing and opening buildings, conducting investigations, report writing, issuing tickets for policy violations, safety checks, patrols and other assigned duties related to basic maintenance tasks. During the summer months responsibilities will include working with the physical plant on tasks such as mowing, basic landscaping work, trash removal, painting and assisting other physical plant staff with projects.
The candidate must be prepared for physically demanding activities and must be able to spend long periods of time on their feet and traverse all types of terrain in all types of weather. Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods, climb stairs frequently, and to lift and carry weights of up to 75 pounds. Excellent teamwork and people skills are critical due to frequent contact and interaction with faculty, staff, and students. A current driver’s license is required along with computer experience and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Must have a strong ability to communicate effectively by radio or telephone in stressful conditions and prior safety/security experience a plus but is not required.

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri is seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Development Officer (DO) that will report directly to the Senior Director for Advancement and Alumni Relations. The Development Officer will be working in close collaboration with a highly talented development team and the Development Officer will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with prospective donors, developing strategies for their cultivation, and soliciting gifts at both the major gift and leadership gift level. An average of five face-to-face donor contacts weekly in addition to phone and email contacts will be expected as well as other duties as necessary to advance the College’s mission and goals.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree (graduate or professional degree preferred) and will have 5+ years of formal development experience, preferably in higher education; however, those with a similar record of professional service and who exhibit the knowledge of and skills for professional development work will receive careful consideration.
In addition, the successful candidate should be highly collaborative in approach, demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills necessary for building relationships with various college constituents, both internal and external. Qualified applicants must have a professional background of meeting established goals and objectives in a timely manner related to the areas of sales, marketing or fundraising. Some evening and weekend commitments will be required as well as the ability and willingness to travel, including overnight, as necessary.
