DINING SERVICES WORKER (Part-Time)

Culver-Stockton College is seeking a part-time Dining Services Worker that will work during the academic year (10 months). This position will work alternating day and evening hours and shifts would include 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. and/or 3 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. This position will work in all areas of the foodservice area but will primarily work at the cashier’s table greeting customers as they enter the dining room and scanning ID cards or taking money and giving change as necessary. This position must remain friendly, helpful, attentive and knowledgeable of all areas in the dining room. Will help with maintaining the dining room cleanliness, will clean the tables with sanitizer and help stock the dining room and assist in other areas as necessary.

Minimum Requirements – Willing to work in college dining services setting. Proven ability to achieve a positive working relationship with all levels of employees and customers. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. Previous related experience or education is helpful.

ASSISTANT WOMEN’S BASKETBALL COACH

Culver-Stockton College is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach. C-SC offers experiential learning with a 12/3 academic calendar which provides an innovative four-year program of studies and experiences that prepares students for career success like no other college or university in the nation. C-SC fields 18 NAIA sports which compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (HEART).

In accordance with all NAIA, Heart of America Athletic Conference and Culver-Stockton College policies and procedures, the position of Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach reports to the Head Women’s Basketball Coach and is responsible for assisting in administering the entire operation of the program including (but not limited to) the recruitment of student-athletes, practice and contest planning, participate in player skill development and other duties assigned by the Head Coach.

Candidates should have success coaching or playing basketball, preferably at the collegiate level or high school level, the ability to recruit and motivate student-athletes, a strong commitment to academic success as well as compliance with NAIA, HEART and institutional policies and procedures. Bachelor’s Degree required.

LANDSCAPE/GROUNDSKEEPER

Culver-Stockton College has a full-time Landscape/Groundskeeper position open in the Physical Plant. The Landscape/Groundskeeper is responsible to keep a clean and well-maintained campus in order for the College to provide an excellent liberal arts degree opportunity for all students. Other responsibilities will include recordkeeping on equipment and grounds care, preparing athletic fields both indoor and outdoor, assisting with snow removal and other duties as necessary to advance the mission and goals of the College.

Qualifications include a high-school diploma or GED and one year of experience in grounds keeping. Must be able to sit, stand, bend, climb ladders and stairs and lift 50 pounds. The Landscape/Groundskeeper has frequent contact with faculty, staff and students and must be able to provide a quality service without creating a major disruption to campus life.

ADJUNCT FACULTY

CAMPUS SAFETY OFFICER

Culver-Stockton College has an immediate opening for a full time Campus Safety Officer. This is a 12-month position that will have responsibilities in both security and physical plant. Work hours for this position will vary and include shifts on days, nights, weekends and/or holidays to provide 24 hour coverage as needed. During the academic year primary responsibilities will include security work such as securing and opening buildings, conducting investigations, report writing, issuing tickets for policy violations, safety checks, patrols and other assigned duties related to basic maintenance tasks. During the summer months responsibilities will include working with the physical plant on tasks such as mowing, basic landscaping work, trash removal, painting and assisting other physical plant staff with projects.

The candidate must be prepared for physically demanding activities and must be able to spend long periods of time on their feet and traverse all types of terrain in all types of weather. Must be able to walk/stand for extended periods, climb stairs frequently, and to lift and carry weights of up to 75 pounds. Excellent teamwork and people skills are critical due to frequent contact and interaction with faculty, staff and students. A current driver’s license is required along with computer experience and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written. Must have a strong ability to communicate effectively by radio or telephone in stressful conditions and prior safety/security experience a plus but is not required.

ADMISSION ASSISTANT

The Culver-Stockton College Office of Admission is seeking a highly-motivated and organized individual for the position of Admission Assistant. This is a non-exempt, 12-month administrative assistant position that will help support the operations of the admission office.

The Admission Assistant is responsible for all data entry and data imports into a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), including prospective student inquiries and applications for admission. Responsibilities also include training new admission staff on the CRM database system, coordinating the daily mail flow to students in all stages of the admission process and other supportive functions in the Admission Office. This position reports to the Executive Director of Admission and College Marketing.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft office programs, experience with databases/data entry, strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work well with a team. Must have an understanding and enthusiasm for the mission and vision of Culver-Stockton College.
