ADJUNCT FACULTY

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, is seeking qualified applicants for adjunct positions teaching math, psychology and theatre (ballet and tap dance).

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a Master’s Degree and evidence of successful teaching at the collegiate level is preferred.  Successful candidates must have evidence of an ability to work effectively with students and colleagues and have a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education and experiential learning.

ASSISTANT FOOTBALL COACH (Part-Time)

Culver-Stockton College is accepting applications for three Part-Time Assistant Football Coaches. The Part-Time Assistant Football Coaches will assist with coaching defensive positions (2 open coaching positions) and offensive positions (1 open coaching position) and special consideration will be given to candidates who could also assist with the Track and Field program.  C-SC offers experiential learning with a 12-3 academic calendar which provides an innovative four-year program of studies and experiences that prepares students for career success like no other college or university in the nation. C-SC fields 18 NAIA sports which compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference (Heart).

In accordance with all NAIA, Heart of America Athletic Conference and Culver-Stockton College policies and procedures, the position of Part-Time Assistant Football Coach reports to the Head Football Coach and is responsible for assisting with the coaching of defensive and/or offensive positions and assisting in administering the entire operation of the program.  Responsibilities will include recruitment of student-athletes, film breakdown and evaluation, practice planning, participation in player skill development, meetings with players and staff and other duties  as assigned by the Head Coach. 

Candidates should have success coaching or playing football, preferably at the collegiate level, the ability to recruit and motivate student-athletes, a strong commitment to academic success as well as compliance with NAIA, Heart, and institutional policies and procedures. Bachelor’s Degree required and special consideration given to candidates with Track and Field collegiate level experience. 

Start date will be August 1st 2016 and is a 10 month, hourly appointment, paying a maximum of $8,000. Screening of applicants will begin immediately. ASSISTANT MEN’S/WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL COACH

Culver-Stockton College is accepting applications for a full-time Assistant Men’s/Women’s Volleyball Coach.  C-SC offers experiential learning with a 12-3 academic calendar which provides an innovative four-year program of studies and experiences that prepares students for career success like no other college or university in the nation.  C-SC fields 18 NAIA sports which compete in the Heart of America Athletic Conference and the NAIA Men’s Volleyball Conference (NAIAMVB).

DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri is seeking a proactive and entrepreneurial Development Officer (DO) that will report directly to the Senior Director for Advancement and Alumni Relations.  The Development Officer will be working in close collaboration with a highly talented development team and the Development Officer will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with prospective donors, developing strategies for their cultivation, and soliciting gifts at both the major gift and leadership gift level.  An average of five face-to-face donor contacts weekly in addition to phone and email contacts will be expected as well as other duties as necessary to advance the College’s mission and goals.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelors degree (graduate or professional degree preferred) and will have 5+ years of formal development experience, preferably in higher education; however, those with a similar record of professional service and who exhibit the knowledge of and skills for professional development work will receive careful consideration.

In addition, the successful candidate should be highly collaborative in approach, demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills necessary for building relationships with various college constituents, both internal and external. Qualified applicants must have a professional background of meeting established goals and objectives in a timely manner related to the areas of sales, marketing or fundraising.  Some evening and weekend commitments will be required as well as the ability and willingness to travel, including overnight, as necessary.

DIVISIONAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

(Fine, Applied and Literary Arts)

Culver-Stockton College is seeking a highly-motivated and organized individual for the position of Divisional Administrative Assistant. This is a non-exempt, 10-month administrative assistant position that will provide office services for the division of Fine, Applied and Literary Arts.  Responsibilities will include scheduling meetings and appointments, maintaining records for the division, overseeing the budget and tracking expenditures and providing reports as needed. Assist with routine clerical duties in support of faculty in the division as well as serving as a liaison between the College, students, vendors and visitors.

Required qualifications include a high-school diploma or GED and two years of clerical experience.  Must have advanced knowledge and experience in Microsoft office programs, strong organizational and communication skills, have the ability to work well with a team.   Must be able to multi-task, work independently and have excellent time management skills.

WEB & DIGITAL MEDIA MANAGER

The Web & Digital Media Manager is a marketing professional, experienced in many facets of media and design, including coordinating Culver-Stockton's website infrastructure, and organizing design, photography and videography projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a professional office environment, both as a member of a collaborative team and also individually.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to, managing dynamic content within the College’s CMS, designing marketing/advertising materials across all media including magazines, newspapers, direct mail and graphics for emails, websites, social media and other online channels.

Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in graphic or web design, along with 3-5 years of relevant experience is required. Qualified personnel will be comfortable providing leadership and expertise for marketing projects and creating press-ready specifications for print companies. A strong foundation in design, photography and communications is expected using design and editing software including Adobe applications (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects and Dreamweaver).
