Admissions Requirements

Freshmen
Culver-Stockton College admits students with the desire and capability for learning and who are positioned for success in their academic endeavors. We consider the whole student throughout the application process, evaluating a combination of academic success, honors and AP courses, standardized test scores (ACT or SAT), school-related and non-school activities, leadership, and service. Please note that some academic majors may have additional requirements that can be found in the Culver-Stockton academic catalog.

Although it is not required for acceptance to C-SC, we highly recommend that you complete, at least, the following high school courses:

  • Four years of English
  • Three years of math
  • Two years of science, including one year of lab
  • Three years of social science, including history and government
  • Two years of a foreign language

Visual and Performing Arts
Students seeking admission into one of the music, theatre or art and design majors must meet additional requirements.  Music and theatre majors will need to schedule an on-campus audition before being accepted into the program.  Students majoring in art and design must present a portfolio for review.

Nursing Students
The Culver-Stockton nursing program is offered in partnership with the Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing, and students must meet additional requirements as described in the standards of Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing and on the BRCN website.

Transfer Students
To be accepted for admission to Culver-Stockton College, transfer students need to have satisfactorily completed all previous college course work.

International Students
In addition to completing a Culver-Stockton College application, international students must submit transcripts and TOEFL scores. More details are available online. We recommend that you apply by April 1 to begin in the Fall (August) term and by November 1 to begin in the Spring (January) term.

All students may complete the online application. There is no application fee.
