Kent Clow '78

Kent Clow '78

Leadership & Service

Kent Clow ‘78 earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and became a leader known for his commitment to sustainability. Kent is a dedicated C-SC alumnus, having served on the Board of Trustees from 2012 to 2020, where he served as chair of the advancement committee. Kent played a pivotal role in the re-launch of the Kansas City Alumni Association, and currently serves on the campaign planning task force. Kent has been a mentor to many Wildcats and was inducted as an honorary member of Alpha Tau Omega Eta Omicron chapter in 2023. After relocating to Arizona in 2020, Kent has worked to engage with area C-SC alumni. Professionally, Kent has served in contract management, project management, and business development roles in the aerospace and defense industries, retiring after 30 years with Honeywell International in 2013. Following retirement, Kent continued consulting in the energy services industry for 7 years.

Honorary Wildcat

Edie Wolf is a dedicated educator and community leader recognized with the Honorary Wildcat award for her continued commitment to Culver-Stockton College. Edie spent much of her career in early childhood education as the owner-operator of her own daycare, first-grade teacher, special education paraprofessional, and substitute teacher. Her dedication to her students spanned beyond the classroom as she also managed an after-school program for underprivileged children in the Springfield School District 186 for 5 years. Edie and Ted Wolf ‘78 are both well known for their love of C-SC. Edie and Ted often visit campus for athletic events, and they never miss Homecoming. Edie and Ted have been helping the football parents serve post-game meals to the players since Coach Sallay arrived for the 2017 season. Edie fully embodies the Wildcat spirit, radiating blue and white in everything she does. Though not a graduate, Edie is a shining example of what it means to serve and stay dedicated to the college community. Edie’s selfless commitment, warm presence, and unwavering enthusiasm make her an invaluable part of the C-SC family and a true Honorary Wildcat.

Dome Award

Cindy McCutchan ‘95 is a cherished member of the Culver-Stockton College community, celebrated for her service and leadership. Cindy began her work on the Hill in 1975 in the College Relations office, moved to Public Relations part-time, and then returned full-time to C-SC in 1985, working in the only computer lab on campus and as the secretary for 3 of the 5 divisions. In 1995, Cindy moved across campus to the Information Technology department, where she has served for the last 30 years. She’s worn many hats within the IT department, from Software Coordinator/Support, Webmaster, and Database Administrator. Cindy is receiving the esteemed Dome Award in recognition of her significant contributions and lasting impact. Campus technology would not be where it is today without Cindy and the work that she and the IT team did to implement and support new software/programs across campus.

Elisa Harris '95

Distinguished Alumna

Elisa (Mineck) Harris ‘95 is a nationally respected healthcare attorney and visionary leader whose nearly 20-year career has shaped some of the most innovative care delivery and payment models in the country. Elisa began her professional journey as an ordained pastor before earning her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she focused on health care law and ethics. She built her legal foundation at a prominent healthcare law firm in Nashville and later served as Senior Counsel at Tenet Healthcare. Elisa has served as General Counsel for two pioneering healthcare organizations, where she played a central role in designing and scaling transformative care models. Today, Elisa is a founding partner of the Nashville office of Barnes & Thornburg LLP, an AM Law 100 firm, where she is leading national growth in healthcare law. Recognized in Best Lawyers in America for the past two years, Elisa Harris exemplifies excellence, innovation, and integrity in healthcare law. Her career continues to inspire and pave the way for future leaders in both law and healthcare.

Alexis Gumm '11

Alexis Gumm '11

Outstanding Young Alumna

Dr. Alexis (Westerhausen) Gumm ‘11 is a distinguished medical professional specializing in pediatric gastroenterology, pediatric hepatology, and liver transplantation. Dr. Gumm earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Chemistry from Culver-Stockton College and went on to earn her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Rockford, IL. Dr. Gumm splits her time between clinical work and research, currently securing over $200,000 in grant funding to pursue her research passion, Fontan-associated liver disease. Dr. Gumm, along with being a physician, is also an Assistant Professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Beyond professional achievement, Alexis is a proud wife and mother of 3. She enjoys Friday night football games, as she cheers on her husband, Justin Gumm ‘09, head coach at Sussex Hamilton High School. Alexis’ contributions to the medical field and her community have significantly impacted the lives of many, embodying the values celebrated at C-SC.
