Jason Reynolds’ career deals in uncertainty and the unknown; but what is certain to him is that his experience at Culver-Stockton College had a major impact on his life. The 1997 graduate now works as an insurance agent and producer for Angell and Co, LLC Insurance in Centralia, Mo. “I like providing protection for my clients against the unknown,” says Reynolds. He says he also enjoys the opportunity to meet and interact with a variety of people through his work.
As a student at Culver-Stockton, Reynolds was active on campus as a member of Lambda Chi Alpha, the golf team and Phi Beta Lambda. He was also on the yearbook staff; he worked in the Office of Student Development; and he was a member of the college choir. Reflecting on his time as a student at Culver-Stockton College, Reynolds says he most enjoyed the lifelong friends he made, especially his fellow Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity members. He also credits Culver-Stockton College with helping him find success in his career, today. “Culver-Stockton provided me with confidence and a degree to pursue a business career first in sales and now insurance,” says Reynolds.
Reynolds and his wife, Dana (Schutte) ’99 who is also a Culver-Stockton alum, live in Columbia, Mo. When asked about his Culver-Stockton experience, Reynolds is quick to tell others that C-SC offers a “great educational opportunity where a student can get involved and feel like a part of a community.”
