- Dorothy (Shannon) Kelso ‘42 resides in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Dorothy was an elementary school, teaching in LaPlata, Memphis, Cedar Falls and Waterloo, Iowa, retiring from the Waterloo Community Schools in 1986. After her retirement, she volunteered for 17 years for schools in Waterloo and Cedar Falls. Dorothy fondly remembers the summer after her freshman year at C-SC (1938-39) while working in the family bank in Gorin, Mo., when Mr. Fred Krueger, from the college, stopped by the bank and asked Dorothy to re-do the logo for Culver-Stockton College. Dorothy was thrilled to see her logo in the most recent issue of the Chronicle (page six) where she incorporated the C and the S in the design (1969-78). The following year, her logo was used for luggage and/or window stickers. Dorothy is still using one of the luggage tags.
- Marjorie (Niemeyer) Maxwell '48 recently returned from a fabulous five-week cruise to Hawaii, South Pacific Isles and New Zealand.
