The cheerleaders provide school spirit at sporting events through cheers, stunts and crowd participation. The cheerleaders participate in the HAAC cheerleading competition each year with eyes toward performing at a national competition. In the spring of 1999, the cheerleading squad received a bid to the National Cheerleading Association (NCA) Nationals in Daytona Beach, Fla., and finished 12th out of 25 in the all-girl squad. C-SC was the smallest group there,consisting of just nine squad members. The Wildcat cheerleaders advanced to nationals after participating in the Evangel cheerleading camp during the summer of 1998. The Culver-Stockton spirit squad consists of two groups, cheerleaders and a dance team.
The cheerleaders provide school spirit at sporting events through cheers, stunts and crowd participation. Meanwhile, the dance team performs at sporting events before and at halftime of football and men and women’s basketball games. Both groups participate in the HAAC spirit squad competition each year with eyes toward performing at a national competition. Both groups are coordinated by Traci Bringer.
