The Classy 'Cats, the Culver-Stockton dance team, performs at pre-game and halftime during the football and basketball seasons. In addition, each year the Classy 'Cats participate in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Spirit Squad competition. In 2009 the Classy 'Cats placed fourth in the competition. The Culver-Stockton College Classy 'Cats, placed fourth in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Spirit Squad competition Saturday afternoon at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kan,.
The Classy 'Cats, who were one of seven teams competing, fell just two-tenths of a point short of finishing in third place and receiving a plaque.
Members of the Classy 'Cats are: Co-Captiains Megan Christy and Taylor Oldin; Daniel Coffman, Bekah Mathiesen; Amanda Hanlin, Sara Manning; Elyssa Nordyke; Ashley Pickett and Kelsey Gerveler.
