Brokaw inks with Wildcats

Culver-Stockton College cross country coach Steve Blocker has announced that Trey Brokaw has signed a letter-of-intent to attend school and participate in cross country and track and field for the Wildcats, beginning with the 2008-09 school year.

Brokaw, a native of Smithshire, Ill. (Monmouth-Roseville HS), was an Olympic Conference all-league runner last season. He also had top 10 finishes at the Rock Ridge Invitational (3rd) and the Quincy Notre Dame Invitational (9th) last season. His personal best is 16 minutes, 58 seconds in the 5K.

Culver-Stockton College is affiliated with the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and is a member of the 11-school Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) with schools located in Missouri, Iowa and Kansas.
