The Wildcat golf team has always enjoyed moderate success on the links, but since the turn of the century, the golf program has taken the next step, winning one conference title and qualifying for the regional tournament eight times. Wildcat golfers place 5th at HAAC Championships

After a strong start, the Culver-Stockton College men's golf team settled for fifth place in the Heart of America Athletic Conference Championships held at Alvamar Golf Course in Lawrence, Kan.
The Wildcats started strong and was in third place after the first round of the three round event. Culver-Stockton carded a 319 after 18 holes and was in fourth place after 36 holes on Monday with a 646 score (319-327).
Culver-Stockton ended the tournament by shooting a 332 on the final day to end the event at 978, 114-over par. Lindenwood won the title with a 54-hole total of 918 or 54-over par.
Missouri Valley was second (934/+70); William Jewell was third (969/+105); Evangel was fourth (978/+106) followed by the Wildcats, and then Graceland (983/+119) and Baker (1000/+136).
Individually, three Wildcats, Jacob Newton, Brice Baker and Matt Sigman, tied for 14th place with 14-over par 244 scores. Tad Luebbenhusen tied for 21st place with a score of 246, or 30-over par.
Craig Gibson of Missouri Valley earned medalist honors with a score of 223 or seven-over par.
