The Wildcat volleyball program stands as one of the most successful programs at the school. The Wildcat netters have advanced to 17 regional tournaments and captured eight conference championships, including a string of five straight to end the decade of the '90s. In fact, since 1981 the Wildcats have finished lower than third place in conference play only seven times. C-SC Interested in Athletics?volleyball has produced 86 all-conference players and 29 NAIA Scholar-Athletes. CANTON, Mo. — The Culver-Stockton College volleyball team had three players named 2008 Daktronics/NAIA Volleyball Scholar-Athletes by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) this season.

Named for the second straight year was senior middle hitter Anna Hechler of Barry, Ill. (Barry HS). Joining her was junior outside hitter Kayla Duncan of Strasburg, Ill. (Stewardson-Strasburg HS), and junior defensive specialist Kahla Tracy of Beardstown, Ill. (Beardstown HS). Thirty-two Wildcat volleyball players have been honored as NAIA scholar-athletes since 1994.

Hechler, an elementary education/early childhood major, led the Wildcats with 346 kills and 75 blocks in 2008. She appeared in all 37 matches and played in all 140 games. She was a Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC) honorable mention selection.

Duncan, an accounting major, was second on the team with 326 kills and 26 service aces in 2008. She also garnered 499 digs and 25 total blocks. Duncan was an All-HAAC second team selection.

Tracy, a business major, played in all 37 matches and appeared in 136 games for the Wildcats. Playing mostly the back row, Tracy contributed 263 digs and had a serve percentage of 91.5. Tracy, only a junior, plans on graduating in May.
