Culver-Stockton College women's basketball coach Melissa Young and volleyball coach Caren Kemner have jointly announced that Kati Davis has signed letter of intents to attend school and play both sports, beginning with the 2012-13 school year.

Davis, a 5-foot-11 center and outside hitter from Owensville, Mo. (Owensville HS), left Ownesville as its all-time leader in points scored and rebounds with 1,237 points and 1,155 rebounds. She averaged 12.6 points and 12.4 rebounds per game as a senior.

Davis became the only the second Dutchgirl basketball player to be named to the Missouri Class 4 All-State team. She was also a all-district slection and a Four-Rivers All-Conference selection.

Davis is the fourth player that has had her signing announced by Coach Young, joining 5-foot-9 guard Jasmine Mathews of Troy, Mo. (Troy Buchanan HS), 5-foot-6 guard Brittni Brandwein of Martinsburg, Mo. (Community R-VI HS), and 5-foot-10 center Randi Lee Plunkett of Philadelphia, Mo (Marion County HS).

On the volleyball court, Davis, a full rotation player, recorded a team-high 245 digs while finishing second on the team with 94 kills, 44 blocks and 22 service aces in 54 games played. She earned Four Rivers Conference all-conference first team honors as a senior.

Davis is also the fourth volleyball player signed by the Wildcats for 2012, joining outside hitter Shea Elmore of Pawnee, Ill. (Glenwood HS), libero Abbie Foster of Quincy, Ill. (Quincy HS) and setter Brooke Carroll of Felton, Calif. (San Lorenzo Valley HS / Cabrillo College).
