Cottey, Thoroman compete in HAAC event

Culver-Stockton runners Andrea Cottey and Ryan Thoroman competed in the Heart of America Athletic Conference cross country championships on Saturday, Oct. 20, in Olathe, Kan.

Cottey finished the women's 5k course in a time of 24 minutes, 36 seconds, to place 62nd out of 79 runners.

Meanwhile, Thoroman completed the men's 8k course in a time of 34 minutes, 41 seconds, finishing 77th out of 84 runners.

Lindenwood captured the men's title for the third straight season, while MidAmerica Nazarene ran away with the women's championship.
