Daniels named scholar-athlete

Ted Daniels

Culver-Stockton College linebacker Ted Daniels has been named a 2008 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Daktronics Football Scholar-Athletes for his work in the classroom and on the playing field this past season.

Daniels, a senior communication major from San Antonio, Texas (Central Catholic HS), appeared in all 11 games for the Wildcats in 2008. He recorded 32 tackles, including 13 solo stops, had two tackles for loss and one sack.

Recipients of the NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete honor must have a junior or senior academic standing and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.50.
