Fire Safety

Education, awareness and prevention are vital parts of fire safety and prevention. Students, faculty and staff are provided information about fire safety policies and rules, participate in fire evacuation drills, receive fire safety training, and are provided essential emergency communication information.

In addition to these procedures, fire safety is enhanced by the regular testing of emergency equipment, continual review of fire notification and suppression equipment, and an annual review of future improvements which takes a proactive approach to enhance fire safety systems, education and general awareness.

Campus Safety maintains a Daily Fire Log, which complies with Fire Safety Right to Know Act. Persons may view a copy of the fire log at the director of campus safety office during normal business hours 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
