Internships

Hiring organizations expect you to have relevant job experience in addition to strong academic skills. As you consider ways to distinguish yourself from other college graduates, look no further than Culver-Stockton College's internship program. Studies have shown that students who participate in an internship have a marked advantage in the job market. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, more than half of the employers surveyed say their recent hires had completed at least one internship. Internships are short-term experiences that provide you with an opportunity to learn from professionals in your field. In addition to familiarizing yourself with a career field, internships allow you to decide if you are really suited to a particular profession or field.
