Mis 220: Management Information Systems OR Mis 225: Computers Applications in Business

  • Mis 220: An introductory course in information systems with an emphasis on business applications. The course will provide an introduction to computer hardware, computer software, and computer communications and will feature an overview of e-commerce, transaction processing, managerial applications, and decision support.

  • Mis 225: An overview of computer applications including spreadsheets, database, presentation graphics, and word processing. Advance concepts and specific implementations will be presented. Both individual and group work will be utilized to give the student an understanding of the use of computer applications as tools in business analysis.
