Minors and Specializations

Biology: The biology minor requires completions of eight hours of core courses in botany and zoology and 10 hours of biology electives.

Chemistry: The chemistry minor requires completion of 19-20 hours of coursework, including two courses of general chemistry, two courses of organic chemistry, and two-three hours of chemistry electives.

Forensic Science: A forensic science specialization requires 18 hours of criminal justice coursework, and focuses on the skills needed for crime scene analysis.

Mathematics: The mathematics minor requires completion of 18 hours of mathematics coursework, including 12 hours in calculus and another six hours of math electives.

Physical Science: The physical science minor requires the completion of 19-21 hours of coursework.
