International Student Coordinator: As a member of the Student Success Department, I collaborate with faculty and staff to provide support for current and prospective international students, to ensure that they have a positive college experience. I provide academic advising, as well as advising on other personal and legal matters related to life in the U.S. as an F-1 status student. I serve as a DSO (Designated School Official) for SEVIS. I teach a course to international ESL freshman titled CS 098: Communication and Academic Success which focuses on language building and cultural awareness. I facilitate International Student Orientation each semester. I serve on the First Response Committee, which focuses on identifying and supporting at-risk students. I am also a member of the Diversity Council which aims to increase opportunities to educate about and celebrate the diverse populations on campus.

I spent five years teaching English in South Korea prior to my role at Culver-Stockton College.

I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors.
