Spiritual Care
Providing care for each other--students, faculty, staff and alumni--is an important priority of Culver-Stockton College. On campus, we offer care mail, places of solitude and care for those coping with loss and experiencing grief. We also provide a list of links for prayer concerns on-line.
Care Mail
I invite your help to strengthen our ability to be a caring community. I am coordinating something called Care Mail. Here is how I hope it will work:
You would call me with the names of faculty, administrators, staff or students who have experienced one of the following:
- a birth
- a wedding
- a surgery, serious injury or serious illness
- a death in the immediate family
You would need to get the individual's permission to give me this information. Just ask them whether they would like me to a) include them on a prayer list or b) inform the campus community so that we can offer prayer, expressions of concern or congratulations as the case may be. This will honor the privacy that is so important in the process of care.
Thank you for your help with Care Mail. I look forward to hearing from you.
