Counseling & Wellness Services

Counseling and wellness services are available to help students. Counseling services are free and confidential. Some of the services provided are:

  • Individual counseling
  • Relationship counseling
  • Roommate mediation
  • Referral resource
  • Consultation services
  • Crisis intervention
  • Educational programming
  • Committee involvement

General Information
  • Located in Lower Level Johnson Hall Room 116.
  • Counselor Hours are 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Evening hours available by appointment.
  • Walk-in hours available everyday from 2 - 3 p.m. (limited to 10 minutes each).
  • Contact the counselor at 288-6441.
  • Appointments are preferred during non-walk-in times.

For an emergency after business hours: (after 5:00 p.m. and on the weekends), Counseling services provides 24-hour crisis response to the College. The counselor can be reached through Campus Security (x6300) or a Community Assistant. If it is a medical emergency, please call 911.

Counseling and Wellness Services will be available as a resource for student organizations during class lectures, ACE events, or meetings at residence halls and Greek houses.

If you would like to schedule a presentation, workshop or brown bag event, please call 288-6441.

Confidentiality
All counseling records are confidential and are not part of your Culver-Stockton personal record. Information from individual records will not be disclosed without your written consent, to the extent protected by law, except when failure to disclose would likely result in imminent threat of serious bodily harm to self or others or as otherwise required by applicable laws. Your counselor will review all information at initial intake appointment.
