Campus Safety

Culver-Stockton College is in compliance of the "Clery Act of 1998", which mandates Schools to make timely warnings to the campus community about crimes that pose an ongoing threat to students and employees. Culver-Stockton Campus Safety publishes an annual report disclosing campus security policies and three years worth of selected crime statistics and provides students information regarding area registered sex offenders. A list of registered sex offenders from this area can be obtained from Campus Safety, local law enforcement or from the Missouri Highway Patrol website.

Campus Safety is intended to create and maintain a safe and secure environment for all members of the Culver-Stockton community. The peace of mind and security that Campus Safety services offer facilitate the realization of the college's goal to provide the highest quality Christian liberal arts education possible.

The staff of Campus Safety is committed to the complete and unconditional discharge of their duties in a professional and diligent manner with an aim to maintaining and building upon the respect it receives from members of the Culver-Stockton community. Safety officers perform their duties either on foot or in a vehicle. During their shift, a patrol officer is responsible for parking lots and campus buildings and events or activities in these areas.

Campus safety has taken steps to ensure that our campus is as safe as possible. For example, Campus Safety officers are available to provide an escort as an alternative to walking alone after dark. The service is designed for students, but it is open to the entire college community.

Safety at Culver-Stockton is everybody's responsibility. Faculty, students, and staff work together to prevent crime and make our campus a safe and thriving environment for all.

If there is an emergency, Campus Safety is available 24 hours at campus extension 6300 (Please note - this extension will forward to a cell phone after five rings, if Safety Officers are out of the office).
