Sport Management

If you are interested in a career in sports-related areas, other than in teacher education, his unique bachelor’s of science degree can prepare you for a career in athletic directing, sports information, sports marketing, or recreational sports management.

The sport management degree, offered as part of the division’s Applied Arts programs, offers courses in sport administration, ethics and governance, event and facility managements, and legal issues.

Students also pursue internships in sport management, working either in athletic directing, sport information directing, sport media, and/or in intramural administration. The sport management major can be easily paired with a minor in business.

For details about the sport management major, see the C-SC Academic Catalog.
