Deposits and Fees

Please note that upon acceptance and proof of finances, a $2000 (United States funds) deposit will be required. This deposit is 100% refundable if your plans should change before your entry term.

Also, please note that upon confirmation you will be required to pay an I-901 fee (www.fmjfee.com) of $100 to the Department of Homeland Security. In order to enter the country you must present both the college issued I-20 and the I-901 payment receipt.

The payment form will ask for two important numbers that can be found on the student's I-20. They will ask for the "school code number" (002460) which can be found in Section 2 of the I-20 and the SEVIS ID number that can be found in the top right section of the I-20. The SEVIS ID always begins with the letter "N". (Note: The Admissions Office, for the sake of timing, may send the student these numbers instead of the full I-20 form. Students will then be able to complete the form, pay the fee, print the receipt, and be eligible to enter the country.)

Credit Evaluation (Transfer International Students)

Upon receiving all official transcripts and completion of your admissions file, the transcripts will be evaluated by the Registrar's Office. A formal evaluation letter will be mailed to you, which indicates the number of credits accepted as well as how they will apply to your prospective degree. The transcript evaluation is completed prior to an admissions decision and does not assure your acceptance to a degree program.

C-SC will make every effort to recognize the credits from other schools. Where the content of courses is equivalent, students will be given credits to C-SC courses. Where there is no compatibility of content, elective credit will be given.
