Graphic Design and Digital Media Arts
Full-time position, possible tenure track appointment beginning Fall 2012.  The preferred candidate should have an MFA in Graphic Design and be able to teach introduction to graphic design, digital layout and typography, digital design and illustration, web design, web animation, and digital video.  Candidates should have exceptional credentials as a graphic designer, possess a genuine commitment to teaching graphic design at the college level, and be proficient with the Mac platform.

Psychology Instructor
Full-time position, possible tenure track appointment beginning fall 2012. Ph.D. preferred; Ph.D. required for tenure track appointment. Rank dependent on qualifications. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in Social Psychology, Research Methods, Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences, and Tests and Measurements. The position also involves student advising, committee assignments, department learning assessment, and supervising undergraduate research activities. The successful candidate must have evidence of an ability to work effectively with students and colleagues and have a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education.

Administration

Chaplain
Culver-Stockton College is seeking a full time Chaplain who will enhance the religious and spiritual life on campus.  Responsibilities of this position will include coordination of religious services and assemblies, which include weekly chapel service; provide pastoral care for the campus community regardless of faith affiliation; develop strong relationships with community churches; organize community service projects; and engage with students preparing for ministry.  In addition, the Chaplain will have the opportunity to teach one course per semester in the academic study of religion and philosophy.  The successful candidate will serve in a highly collaborative role across academic affairs, enrollment management, and student life to provide vision and leadership for spiritual development on campus.

Requirements for the position include a master’s degree (doctorate preferred and ordination, preferably in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) or reciprocating denomination), evening/weekend availability, and excellent ministry skills.

Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College
Culver-Stockton College invites nominations and applications for the position of Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College. Culver-Stockton College, with potential to grow, currently serves 750 students; nearly all are traditional-age students in residence on the highly attractive campus overlooking the town of Canton, Missouri, and the mighty Mississippi River. Most of the students come from the tri-state area, though students at Culver-Stockton include representatives from 27 states and 12 international locations. As a residential, liberal arts college, Culver-Stockton’s mission is  to provide students of promise a superb education.

Culver-Stockton recently launched a new and innovative curriculum that combines the college’s liberal arts tradition with experience-based, real-world opportunities. The successful candidate will have an earned Ph.D. or equivalent academic credential and will have significant experience in accreditation, program assessment, strategic planning, faculty and staff hiring and development, co-curricular enhancement, and fiscal management. S/he will possess the experience, talent, diplomacy, and intelligence necessary to build and inspire a team of staff and colleagues and must be a superior strategist with a strong grasp of best practices nationally. Transfer Admission Counselor
