Director of College Communications:
Individual needed to direct the marketing and advertising efforts of the college as well as coordinate the daily operations of the communications office that includes all functions of media relations, marketing, institutional publication development, graphic design, printing, and web. The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred, and four years of professional experience in public relations, a good knowledge of media relations and marketing, and excellent editing, writing and design skills. This position reports directly to the President of the College.

Head Women’s Basketball Coach:
Culver-Stockton College is accepting applications for the position of head women's basketball coach with duties beginning during the Spring 2010 semester. Responsibilities include performing the duties of head coach and also teaching courses in physical education or sports management. Culver-Stockton College is a member of the Heart of America Athletic Conference and the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
Experience as a successful head coach or assistant coach at the collegiate level is expected. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the role of athletics at a quality liberal arts college. The successful candidate will demonstrate skills in effective coaching, recruiting (including the role of financial aid), and retention of student athletes. High quality classroom teaching is expected. Master’s degree is required.

Communication:
Full-time teaching position beginning in August 2010. Tenure-track position with rank dependent upon qualifications. The college seeks a generalist who will teach in the areas of mass communication, public relations, and general communication courses. The position may include supervision of student media programs (newspaper, radio station, etc.) Other responsibilities include academic advising, committee work, and assistance in student recruiting. Knowledge of current trends in curriculum and pedagogy and the experience and ability to provide departmental leadership is preferred. Ph. D. required, ABD may be considered. The successful candidate must have evidence of an ability to work effectively with students and colleagues and have a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education.
