Fine Arts for the Non-major
Theatrical productions and most musical ensembles – vocal and instrumental – welcome non-majors. We stage five plays each year, as well as student-directed one-act plays and an Opera Workshop. Auditions are posted online and on bulletin boards around campus. Come prepared with a monologue or – if you’re auditioning for the musical – have a song and be prepared to dance. Auditioning is also required to become part of vocal and instrumental ensembles. Any qualified student musician, regardless of their major, may audition for the Collegiate Choir, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, or Jazz Ensemble.
