Intended as a major that would coincide with a related field. Most students who pursue a BA in Art are also pursuing another degree.

Beyond the Classroom
Student Run Clubs: Art Club, National and Missouri Art Education Association, AIGA Student Group
Honor Societies: Kappa Pi
Professional Experiences: All majors are required to complete an internship.
Travel-Study Courses: Arts Abroad course to Europe offered every 2 years.
Service Learning: Kappa Pi (each student does 20 hours of volunteer work)
Creative Expression: Students are encouraged to enter work in student and professional art shows, accept comissions and complete a major body of work in the Art & Design Senior Capstone course.
Graduates go on to: perform, manage museums, banks, tourism areas and hotels, open successful photography and webpage businesses, and manage the Missouri Arts Council
