About the Program
The major in finance prepares students for careers in corporate finance, banking, investment analysis or financial planning. The Finance curriculum provides students with necessary skills in forecasting, analysis, investments and financial management.
What Makes the Program Distinctive?
C-SC’s Finance program gives students the skills employers want. Employers are looking for graduates with strong interpersonal skills and the Finance curriculum helps students develop excellent written and oral communication skills. C-SC’s experiential focus gives students the opportunity to meet corporate leaders in board rooms of major corporations. A 2016 survey of employers indicated the top five skills needed from college graduates include problem-solving, creativity, communication, planning and Excel. Our students use Excel every day in their finance courses and come away with significant core knowledge and hands-on skills.
