Welcome First-Year Students
Making the transition from high school expectations to college-level demands is one of the toughest lessons to learn. At Culver-Stockton College, as a part of EXP@CSC, all first-year students take a first-year-experience course to help you sharpen the skills and acquire the habits that will make you successful at C-SC. You will focus on one topic with intensive writing, group interactions, and faculty mentoring. Each 3-credit course focuses on building the same skills.
You will register for your FYE course during Summer Registration and Orientation at C-SC. To save your space in the course of greatest interest to you, log in to the FYE course selection form. Pick your top five favorites before you register. Your priority is determined by the date we received your confirmation fee. If your top pick is full, you will be placed in your second selection, etc. If you do not make your top selections online, we reserve the right to place you in an FYE course based on available space.
