In the Culver-Stockton Humanities and Social Sciences Division, the disciplines of English, history, psychology, religion, philosophy, sociology, political science, foreign languages, communication, and criminal justice collaborate to offer the best possible foundation for living well.
Culver-Stockton's innovative EXP@CSC curriculum teaches through experience and makes the world, literally, your classroom. You may EXPect hands-on experiences such as:
- Studying the American Civil War through field trips to battlefield sites
- Studying radio journalism by serving as DJ on a college radio station
- Studying occupational psychology through a professional internship
- Studying humanitarianism by joining a service learning trip to a poverty-stricken village in Mexico
- Studying the law by participating in a mock trial
- Studying international relations by serving as a delegate to the Model UN
- Studying the Roman Empire by visiting Constantinople
- Studying creative writing by publishing in C-SC's literary magazine, Harmony
