Welcome to the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences!
The Division of Humanities and Social Sciences at Culver-Stockton College encourages students to develop the skills and understanding necessary to navigate a complex, changing world. We emphasize learning through experience, and challenge students to engage in educational opportunities that go beyond the classroom. Culver-Stockton Humanities and Social Sciences students learn about the American Civil War by traveling to battlefield sites. They study radio journalism by working as a DJ at our college radio station and experience humanitarianism by taking part in mission trips to poverty stricken countries; and these are just a few of the extraordinary opportunities offered at C-SC.
