Welcome

Welcome to the Culver-Stockton Division of Natural and Mathematical Science. We offer majors in athletic training, biology, biological chemistry, mathematics and nursing (in cooperation with Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing). We also offer technical tracks in clinical laboratory science and pre-physical therapy. You can prepare for almost any ongoing scientific study through our pre-professional and pre-graduate school program.

When studying science, you need to get hands-on experience. That's our specialty at C-SC. Through our EXP@CSC curriculum, every student in every major gets hands-on experience in their field before they graduate. It might be 750 hours of clinical experience in athletic training, or a year working in a hospital to complete your clinical lab science certification, or classroom experience to prepare science and math teachers, or two years at Blessing-Rieman Hospital to finish your nursing degree, or any of the internships in our other majors, or taking some of our experiential courses. The end result is that you receive the real-world experience that you need to succeed as you continue in higher education or enter the job market.

We have excellent science facilities at Culver-Stockton and smaller classes than you'll find at many colleges and universities. Our average class size is less than 14:1. Of course that means more personal attention, but it also means classes are more challenging and that you'll learn more. You'll need to be prepared for class; there's no hiding when classes are small. You'll learn to listen, but you'll learn to lead. It's full-contact education.

Check out our programs and contact us if you have any questions.
