Culver-Stockton 51st Annual Science Fair

Five area school districts participated in the 51st annual Culver-Stockton Science Fair on Saturday, February 28. There were 135 junior high and senior high school students from Canton RV, Keokuk, La Plata, Southeastern, and Central Lee that submitted 96 projects.
Projects were ranked on creative development, scientific thought, thoroughness of data, skill, clarity of display, and clarity of explanations. Overall there were 24 ribbons given to senior high school students and 27 ribbons awarded to junior high school students who participated. Southeastern Junior/Senior High School, Augusta, Ill., received the outstanding chapter awards for both divisions.
