Student Comfort & Success
Culver-Stockton has its own campus security department, available 24-hours a day, C-SC has excellent working relationships with area first-response officers and collaborate on emergency response efforts for the town and the campus.
C-SC wants to be sure that students adjust happily to life on campus. Culver-Stockton is a residential campus, and most of our students live on campus. About 40 percent of our students choose Greek life and live in one of our four fraternities or three sororities. Students can participate in one of several meal plans or can eat at our snack counter, the Cat's Pause, or our coffee house, The Lab Cafe. Refer to the Dining Services page for more information on campus dining options.
Culver-Stockton has a counseling and wellness service on campus that includes individual counseling, relationship counseling, roommate mediation, crisis intervention, education programming and referral to other agencies if necessary. Resources such as Student Health 101 are also made available to students. Medical services are available in Canton and Hannibal, Mo., and Quincy, Ill. See our Counseling and Wellness page for more information.
C-SC programs are specifically designed to help promote student success, not just for first-year students, but all four years. There is academic help available through the Tutorial and Academic Support Center. If you have questions contact Dr. Holly Andress-Martin, director of Advising, Retention, and First Year Experience. A Career Center is available to help your student throughout their College career, including resume-building, cover letter critique and e-Portfolio development.
