C-SC's SIFE/PBL

James M. Cosgrove, professor of business administration and chairperson of the business division at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo., was recently elected to the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education board of directors. IACBE, an accrediting body of collegiate business programs, held its national conference in San Antonio, Texas, April 5-9. IACBE accredits the Culver-Stockton College business division programs.

Cosgrove, who has been on the faculty at C-SC since 1982, graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame in 1969 and received a juris doctor in 1972 from the University of Illinois Law School.

Also attending the national conference were Culver-Stockton College faculty members Robert Giuliani, assistant professor of business administration, and Pamela M. Williams, assistant professor of business administration, and C-SC Students in Free Enterprise team members Aaron Boatman, Krista Linn, Josh Perkins and Kayla Scott.

The SIFE team gave a poster presentation about its activities and accomplishments, and the advantages of having a campus team. The C-SC team was the only student group invited to make a presentation at the conference.
