St. Louis Irish Arts performing at C-SC

St. Louis Irish Arts will be performing a concert on the Culver- Stockton Campus on Thursday, October 25, 7:30 p.m. in the Merillat Recital Hall at the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Center. This performance is free and open to the public.

St. Louis Irish Arts will perform music and dance from their traditional heritage. They have two recorded albums called “St. Louis Irish Arts Volume One and Two." The group has performed with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, The Chieftains, Cherish The Ladies, and for the U.S. Congress.

St. Louis Irish Arts, Inc., is the local branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann founded in 1951 and locally in 1972, with the objective of keeping Irish cultural traditions alive.

The performance is offered as part of the college’s Academic and Cultural Events (ACE) program.
