Groff to present senior recital

Adrian Groff, a Culver-Stockton senior music education major from Lewistown, Mo., will present her senior music recital on Saturday, December 1, at 1 p.m. in Merillat Recital Hall, in the Culver-Stockton Performing Arts Center on campus.

Groff will present several music performances showcasing her talents on the clarinet, with Mary Dieker accompanying on piano. Her selections include “Sonata in C minor,” by Georg Philipp Telemann; “Classical Duos,” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart with Kendra Feld, senior art and music major, playing the clarinet; “Piece en Forme de Habanera,” by Maurice Ravel; and “Six Studies in English Folk Song,” by Ralph Vaughan Williams.

A reception will follow the performance. The recital is presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements to receive a bachelor of music education degree from Culver-Stockton College. For more information, contact the Fine Arts Office at 573-288-6346 or e-mail finearts@culver.edu.
