Kirchner to present flute and vocal recital

Jessi Kirchner, a Culver-Stockton College senior music education major from Eldon, Mo., will present her senior recital on Sunday, February 3, at 3 p.m. in Merillat Recital Hall, The C-SC Performing Arts Center, Canton, Mo.

Kirchner, a flutist and mezzo-soprano, will perform Adante K. 315 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart on the flute; Ich Trage meine Minne by Richard Strauss on vocals; Wohin? by Schubert on vocals; Sonata in E minor by JS Bach on the flute; Suite Antique by John Rutter on the flute; The Sky Above the Roof and Let Beauty Awake by R. Vaughan Williams on vocals; and Fantasie by Faure on the flute.

A reception will follow the performance. The recital is presented in partial fulfillment of the requirements for a bachelor’s of music education degree from Culver-Stockton. For more information, contact the Fine Arts Office at 573-288-6346 or e-mail finearts@culver.edu.
