Concert Choir wraps up season on April 6

CANTON, Mo. -- The Culver-Stockton College Concert Choir is marking an end to its 61st Spring Tour with its annual Spring Concert on campus. The concert will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 6, in the Alexander Campbell Auditorium in the Robert W. Brown Performing Arts Building. The event is free and open to the public.
The concert will feature The Last Words of David, by Randall Thompson; Canticle of Praise, by John Ness Beck; The Lord Bless You and Keep You, by John Rutter; Deep River, by Arr. Roy Ringwald; Two Love Songs, by Robert Young; and many more. The concert is under the direction of Dr. Kevin Baker, associate professor of music.
The C-SC Concert Choir is an ensemble of 55 students selected from auditions during the fall semester. They include both music majors and non-music majors. Throughout the spring, the Concert Choir tours the Midwest with its final performance of the year being the spring concert.
