Selby receives National IMA’s Manuscript Award

CANTON, Mo. – Culver-Stockton College student, Joseph Selby, has been awarded the national Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) Student Manuscript Award. Selby has been invited to attend a special student awards luncheon on June 15 at the 89th IMA Annual Conference and Exposition in Tampa, Fla., to receive the award.
Selby’s winning manuscript is entitled “Hard Work Pays Off – The Key to Student Chapter Success.”
“My submission talks about our student chapter’s accomplishments over the last few years, and my role in those events,” said Selby.
Twenty-eight students nationwide competed for the award, and Selby is one of two recipients.
“I am extremely honored to have my manuscript chosen among all of the entries and am looking forward to representing Culver-Stockton College at the IMA Conference,” added Selby.
