Students inducted into Sigma Tau Delta

CANTON, Mo. – The Culver-Stockton College English Department has inducted four members into the Epsilon Iota chapter of the international English honor society, Sigma Tau Delta.
The new members are Will Gard, senior from Palmyra, Mo.; Sara Rhum, senior from Fairfield, Iowa; Brandi Belford, junior from St. Louis, Mo.; and Alison Schmidt, junior from Alton, Ill.
To be selected as a member of the honor society, each member must be majoring or minoring in English, have at least two college courses in English language or literature beyond the usual requirements, obtain and keep at least a B average in English, rank in the highest 35 percent of their class in general scholarship or have a B average, have completed at least three semesters of college coursework, and must be currently enrolled as a student at Culver-Stockton College.
