Alison Schmidt, daughter of Dennis and Tammy Schmidt of Alton, Ill., was selected as Homecoming queen. She is a senior English education major and a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Schmidt has served as a Wildcat Welcome Guide and is currently a member of the C-SC “Up ‘Til Dawn Executive Board,” working to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. Crowned Homecoming king was Grant Stephenson, son of Greg and Sue Ellen Stephenson, Canton, Ill. Stephenson is a senior majoring in history and math education. He also has served as a Wildcat Welcome guide and a member of the Campus Programming Council. Stephenson is former president of the C-SC Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Senior members of the Homecoming court were Josh Alm, sport management major, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Justin Gumm, education major, Quincy, Ill.; Katy Hanus, business administration/psychology major, Keosaqua, Iowa; Becky Miller, communication major, Memphis, Mo.; Kennedy Moore, jazz music major, St. Louis, Mo.; and Amanda Murphy, athletic training major, Kirksville, Mo. Junior members of the Homecoming court were Kat Kerness, athletic training major, Kankakee, Ill.; and Jim Varner, communication major, Sorrento, Ill. Sophomore members of the Homecoming court were Kara Young, nursing major, Mexico, Mo.; and Travis Dahlhauser, speech and theatre education major, Rockford, Ill. Freshmen members of the Homecoming court were Jackie LeGrand, nursing major, Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and Blake Stephenson, English education major, Canton, Ill.
