High school students invited to take part in C-SC master classes

CANTON, Mo. -- Now is the time to polish your theatre, music and art talent by registering for Master Classes in the Fine Arts at Culver-Stockton College. Junior and senior high school students who are interested in the Fine Arts are invited to participate in master classes that will refine their skills and talent. Master classes are scheduled to take place on Feb. 26, 2011 in Alexander Campbell Auditorium on the campus of Culver-Stockton College.

Master classes in the morning session are geared for groups of students to study with professionals in the Fine Arts to learn new skills and techniques. The afternoon session will focus on providing individualized instruction where music faculty will coach students who are preparing general audition or solo and ensemble contest pieces, art faculty will review art portfolios and provide feedback and theatre faculty will work with students to refine prepared audition pieces aimed for college and summer stock auditions and review portfolios of aspiring stage designers.
